a blank page can be so exciting- so many thoughts and plans and what-ifs!
I am planning on keeping this blog as a journal of my journey, raising a healthy family. I get so many questions from folks who want to know how I organize my kitchen to deal with allergies, clean without excessive chemicals, sew and repair things from toddler clothes to stage costumes. I am designating this as my repository of thoughts on some of these questions for the time being.
If you stumble upon this blog, you should know- I am stumbling along, just like anyone else! I don't have a degree in mothering or more expertise than the next woman down the line. I can't unlock the secrets of always having a clean house or happy family. I am, over all, pretty lazy and seek an awful lot of shortcuts- some of which work and some of which should never have been attempted. This is what worked (and what didn't) for me and I am open to suggestions on how to do things differently next time! I've reinvented enough wheels- I hope I can help you avoid some unnecessary reinvention & would love to know your household tips & tragedies as well!
